The artist Andre Smits  was tipped off to what I have been up to on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and decided to drop by my studio to include me in his “Artist in the World – The Never Ending Art Trip” Project.  He has been traveling the world meeting artists and gallery professional – strictly by word of mouth – and photographing them from behind in their studio/working environments.  It was quite enjoyable to have an impromtu studio visit  by someone from the Netherlands, a part of the world where making non-traditional art forms is supported.  In many ways I am a very traditional artist, and it was both amusing and encouraging to discuss why I was do things the way I do with someone who questions nearly every aspect of what most Americans are taught that art should be.

I am thrilled to  be included in such a sweeping project along with so many other talented art professionals.
