The Puddle Fishing paintings are semi-autobiographical pieces about putting oneself out there and trying things that may seem impossible in order to follow and achieve a dream.  There are allusions to Central Park, but it could be anywhere.  It could be the boat pond, or it could just be a puddle.  The creatures can be seen as possibilities and opportunities (some scary, some good, some bad).
